Three is red dragons that only fly at night time and talk like dinosaurs.
Three is why are you doing that peanut butter and jelly? Why are you hungry mommy? Why are you doing lunch? Why are you eating?….
Three is mine!
Three is no!
Three is do you see the angels mommy?
Three is climbing the big slide and not being scared.
Three is stomping a foot.
Three is “reading” a book to yourself.
Three is whispering to robots, dolls and trains.
Three is I can do it by myself!
Three is afraid of the dark.
Three is checking the hibiscus every day to see if it bloomed.

Three is mimicking Mommy… at everything! It’s part endearing and part too-much-pressure for me to do it right all the time.

I am finding that to be so true. Especially when they mirror back less-than-stellar traits. My daughter started play “pointing and nagging” and I quickly realized she was mimicking me! Ouch. They have a way of keeping us honest, don’t they?!
